People petition commissioner for drinking water and basic amenities at grievance redressal meeting

Grievance redressal meeting was conducted at the Coimbatore corporation's main office by Corporation commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan.

When speaking during the occasion corporation commissioner said, “The mobile grievance redressal vehicle was flagged off by the minister for Town Management, Rural Development, and special schemes. The applications which are received through the mobile grievance redressal vehicle will be addressed immediately.“ he said.

Also, people can also present their grievance to the corporation commissioner directly.

“On December 26th a meeting was conducted at north zone by the Corporation commissioner and presiding officer at the corporation's north zone office. People submitted grievances highlighting the need for basic amenities like street lights, removal of dustbins, drinking water, cleaning the drainage. Instructions were given to the concerned officials for swift action on the petitions.” he said.
