Eateries should avoid plastic containers for takeaway food orders, says district collector

Coimbatore collector T. N. Hariharan through a press release has stated that, eateries including bakeries in Coimbatore should refrain from using containers that are made of plastic to pack the food for their take away orders.

Food when packed in banana leaves is safe for human consumption too.
