Sikarankalai Nokki 2016 hosted by SNR Sons College and Elangyar Sakthi Maiyam

SNR Sons College joined hands with Elangyar Sakthi Maiyam and hosted Sikarankalai Nokki 2016, a special conference on building self confidence. This day-long programme was recently hosted at the S.N.R. Auditorium.



Dr. S. Deena, Head, CS&HM presided over the function. Suresh Kumar of Elangyar Sakthi Maiyam was the chief guest for the programme. In his address to the participants, he said “India is the only country in the world where a majority of the population is youth. The youth of our country have excelled in various fields and have made a mark for themselves. Thus, they (the youth) are role models for the youth in other countries in the world.”

Bringing the focus to people of Tamil origin, the chief guest stated that “Tamils are blessed with a high IQ. Tamils have been employed in high positions in various corporate giants in the world. One thing that an individual cannot afford to let go of is his or her self-confidence. You will have to deal with difficulties, however you must learn how to overcome the challenges that you face.” Suresh Kumar said.

Dr. Anandha Parthiban, P.K.Anandhi, Anbusiva also delivered a motivational address during this programme. During the valedictory function, prizes were distributed to the winners of the various literary competitions that were hosted as a part of this programme.
