Fashion Technology Dept Students of Sri Krishna institutions donate new clothes to babies at GH, this New Year!

The students of Department of Fashion technology have started this 2017 a novel way. The students today along with the College Principal Dr. A. Ramesh and Baba Gnanakumar distributed tiny little clothes to the new born babies at the Coimbatore General Hospital.

All those clothes were designed and stitched by the students, who have been doing this initiative for the past eight years. The clothes were designed in the most comfortable way for the children to keep them warm this winter.

At the morning session, a New Year Celebration meet was conducted at the College. The faculty members took on oath to help the students transform to socially responsible citizens rather than just focusing on the curriculum. One of the faculty members stated that 'Enriching the students with knowledge of current demands of the industry and embedding thoughts of social responsibility, will mould them into perfect citizens'.
