Income tax inspection at a jewellery shop in Coimbatore today

Sivakumar is from Ashok nagar in Coimbatore, owns and runs Mudra jewellery and Mudra Mudra bullion that is located in the Raja Street in Coimbatore. Goldsmith by profession, It has been reported that a team of six officials from the Income Tax department visited his shops and conducted an enquiry about his business and business financial transactions. A highly placed source shares that this enquiry lasted for two hours.

According to information, the income tax officials have taken in their possession, sale and purchase vouchers and details related to the financial transactions. However, officials stated that inspection at this office and enquire was part of routine procedure.

This income tax raid at this city-based jewellery shop has created tension in the city.
