Association of Private Schools Management (CBSE) is organising an educational expo as a part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the founding of this association. The celebrations will be hosted for two days starting tomorrow. The event is organised at the Suguna Auditorium that is located on Avinashi Road in the city.
Dr. E. Balagurusamy, former Vice Chancellor of Anna University will be the Chief Guest for this event. As part of the celebration 'Synergy Meet' a meeting of the office bearers of the various associations of CBSE schools will also be conducted with representatives from Mumbai, Goa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Kerala.
Padmashree, Dr. P. R. Krishnakumar, Chancellor, Avinashilingam University will felicitate the founders of the association on the second day. Prof. Dr. H. Devaraj former Vice Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) will be the chief guest of the valedictory function. The exhibition will have the participation of educational institutions from national and international level and school vendors. About 76 stalls will on display at the venue of this exhibition.
When speaking to SimpliCity, A.B.T Bose said, “There are a lot of educational expos in India. However, this is one-of-its-kind educational expo that is being hosted in Tamil Nadu. This expo will have 76 stalls of school suppliers. The school managers will have an opportunity to upgrade the facilities in their school as the exhibition will have all the educational technologies, lab instruments, classroom furniture and furniture for staff etc under one roof. New schools will have an opportunity to purchase all their needs at the same place” he said.
When speaking about the seminar he said, “The seminar is conducted only for the educationalists, teachers, management, staff and principals of schools. One of the topics covered during the seminar is how to teach children who have learning difficulties.” When asked by our reporter whether there is a quota for children with learning disabilities in the schools he said “The kids are thought using special teaching methods” he said.
