'Vadavalli will soon get a new bus terminus', says CCMC Special Officer.

Coimbatore corporation commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan today inspected the bus terminus situated in Vadavalli. While speaking to the press he said, “The bus station located in Vadavalli does not have enough space for buses to be parked. Thus, making the entry and exit points too congested. So an inspection was conducted in this regard to rule out the possibilities of constructing a new bus terminus at the same place more spaciously'.

“Survey was conducted to identify the area required and also to remove the encroachments that currently occupy the space of the current bus terminus. Inspection was also conducted to remove the old toilets and shops situated at the entrance of this terminus.”

When asked about the schedule and deadline of the construction of the new bus terminus, he stated that the construction work would commence shortly.
