Young Leaders Awards flagged off at the Park Global School

Coimbatore corporation commissioner Dr. K.Vijaya Karthikeyan today flagged off the Young Leaders Awards at the Park Global School in Coimbatore. This initiative is a first of its kind award for leadership given to children.

Coimbatore Corporation commissioner in his address said “It is important for every person to be a leader. Since my School days, I was interested in quizzing, writing and cartooning. Even today, I still try to find the time to pursue my hobbies” he said. He encouraged the Young Leaders Awards to carry this message to every school and congratulated the Park Global School for taking this initiative.



Dr.Anusha R, CEO, Park group of institutions, said that she was happy to host the flagging off at Park Global School. She said children are the change agents and will make India a better place.

Deepa Aathreya, Founder, YLA said that “The programme would not stop with the title. Forming young leaders' conventions and young leader's action programs across India is in the pipeline. This will nurture leadership at every level, helping children transform, take charge and lead.”

Archana Dange, Head-TN, Helen O’Grady, explained the modus operandi of the programme. She invited all interested schools to register before January 13th. Schools from Tirupur, Coimbatore, Mettupalayam and Gobichettipalayam shall participate.

Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent of Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), Kavin Kandasamy,- CEO, Mangalam Group of Companies, Celebrity actor Arvind Kathare also participated in this programme.
