More than 1000 people participate in Yogathon!


Coimbatore Yogathon 2017 which is an initiative of the Art of Living foundation was inaugurated today at the PRS Grounds this morning. Basic techniques of yoga were demonstrated as a part of this programme. Participants practised the yoga techniques in the presence of the yoga trainer.



More than 1000 people from all walks of life attended this yoga session this morning that was hosted between 6 am to 9 am at the venue. We are told that similar sessions will be hosted at the same venue till 11 January.



One of the trainers said “The aim of organizing this programme is to encourage the public to practise yoga and those who are already practising yoga must ensure that the non practitioners too are involved in yoga. We are hopeful that those who attended this free session will spread this message.”
