Students of PSG Arts & Science college stage protest!

This morning, close to 800 students of of PSG Arts and Science College had organised a protest before their College premise at Avinashi Road.

Sources say, the protest has been hosted against the management's for imposing 'few restrictions' on pongal celebrations this year at the College. Every year the students of this College celebrate the festival of Pongal in a grandeur way with a touch of traditional and culture. But this year, with just another four days to go for the event, the Management has laid few restrictions on the celebration part. Disappointed by the decision, the students staged this unprecedented protest to show their disapproval on the management's decision. 

Presently, the students have withdrawn their protest and it is said that the student's head and the management will be having a talk regarding the differences and derive at an amicable solution.

The protest scene garnered the entire attention of the Avinashi Road, as it happened during the busy hours of the day.
