Pongal celebrated at Western Ghats International school

Pongal was celebrated at the Western Ghats International School which is located in Ettimadai near Coimbatore. Hemalatha Sashikumar correspondent of the school presided over the function. The programme began with students performing Kummi Paattu, followed by the students who dressed like a bull were tamed by the other students.





Uriyadi event was also hosted for the students. Students enthusiastically participated in the Vazhukku maram event in which the students were asked to climb a 15 foot pole which was greased. A rekhla ride was also hosted for the students. Sathish a student of this school delivered the vote of thanks.
