PM's statement is no shock to us, we are focused on what we want, say Jallikattu supporters in Coimbatore.

'Matter sub-judice, so central cannot pass ordinance' is the response given this morning by Prime Minister Modi to the pleas put-forth by Tamil Nadu CM on conduct of Jallikattu.

'PM's statement, is no surprise or shock to us', say relentless Jallikattu supporters at the VOC grounds.

The supporters have not lost their control a bit after PM's statement. To the contrary, the supporters are very determined and thoughtful on their pleas and plans.

'We are students, we are well-informed that there is still a provision to pass ordinance. The President can pass ordinance after recommendations from the Prime Minister. And, why is the central hesitant to do that?' a student asked.

A group of agitated supporter from the VOC grounds have stated that as the State and the central government have failed thoroughly to understand the emotions and realistic pleas of the people of Tamil Nadu, we have decided not to pay for tickets in state government buses or pay toll-fares on national highways.

Another group of supporters at the same venue stated that, 'We will not indulge in violence of any form. We will continue to protest till our pleas are responded back positively. Students from all districts in TN should stay focused and should not lose control. It's no more just students. Women, even some pregnant women, children, senior citizens and people from all walks of life have joined the protest, it's people's movement' they said.
