P.Gandhimathi. Deputy Commissioner today conducted an inspection on the various works carried out by the Coimbatore corporation at the 77th and 78th wards. She received the complaints from the residents of these wards and directed the corporation officials to take action immediately to find a solution to the complains that she received.
She also inspected the application of Abate mosquito repellent into the water storage tanks and removal of unwanted objects which act as the breeding sites of mosquitoes. She inspected the works carried out by the sanitary workers of this area. She also inspected the reserved sites which were removed of encroachments recently.
District welfare officer K. Santhiskumar, Assistant corporation commissioner of South zone of Coimbatore corporation Ravi, assistant town planning officer Sravanan and corporation officials were present during this inspection.
