Coimbatore : Mahima Shree studying Class IX at the Suguna PIP School here in the city has been selected to represent the country in the 3rd Asian Roll Ball Championship 2019 at the Shivaganga Skating Rink, Belgaum, Karnataka.
Coimbatore : Mahima Shree studying Class IX at the Suguna PIP School here in the city has been selected to represent the country in the 3rd Asian Roll Ball Championship 2019 at the Shivaganga Skating Rink, Belgaum, Karnataka.
Mahima has been in this sport for the last four years and within a short time she has showed utmost potential and skill in the game which has secured her place in Team India. She has consistently performed to win medals in both state and national matches.

Though the Roll Ball is not a very familiar sport among people, Mahima inherited a passion for it and developed her Roll Ball skill with her coach V Rajasekar who is the Secretary of the Coimbatore Roll Ball Association.
While talking to the media, Rajasekar exulted, "Mahima is a star player in her district and state teams in which she has won several matches for her team. Though the game was introduced just four years in our city, our Roll Ball players had already won up to 15 medals in state and national level competitions.
Mahima played a very important role in her teams. The determination and sincerity towards the game took her to this level." He also added, "Mahima will perform well in the Asian Roll Ball Championship and bring home laurels."
