Coimbatore: Para Volleyball Association of Coimbatore petitions for setting up an indoor sports stadium for the disabled in Coimbatore.
They said that they had been training at the private college ground or any vacant land in Coimbatore for the last 5 years and now it was not possible to train at private colleges due to the spread of the coronavirus.
They petitioned the district collector to set up a "sitting volleyball" stadium for the disabled to play under the Smart City project, as they have been successful in playing in various tournaments and find it difficult to train without a training ground or infrastructure.
