Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation on Sunday announced that a rupture occurred in the Pillur Drinking Water Project II at Velliangadu Water Treatment Plant near Muthukallur.

These areas include Singanallur, Ondipudur, Peelamedu, Sowripalayam, Avarampalayam, Ganapathy, Gandhipuram, Rathinapuri, Siddhapudur and Ukkadam.
Hence M.Prathap I.A.S. City Corporation Commissioner has requested the cooperation of the public in this regard as works are underway to regularize the water supply.
