Securing Coimbatore: steps to prevent crime with surveillance Cameras

Deputy Superintendent Police Namasivayam of Periyanayakanpalayam inaugurated 11 CCTV cameras at Thirumalainayakanpalayam in Coimbatore with the objective of preventing criminal activities. This installation was successfully done with the aid of private firm.


Coimbatore: In order to stop criminal activity, Periyanayakanpalayam Superintendent of Police Namasivayam and Periyanayakanpalayam Police Station Inspector Damodaran are installing surveillance cameras in various sensitive areas throughout the Periyanayakanpalayam police station in Coimbatore.



All of its motions can be tracked from Periyanayakanpalayam. In order to do this, Thirumalai Naickanpalayam, which is under the jurisdiction of Periyanayakanpalayam police, has 11 CCTV cameras installed by a private business called Subha Plastics from Jothipuram at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakh.



Periyanayakanpalayam Deputy Superintendent of Police Namasivayam attended the inaugural celebration and cut ribbons to commemorate the installation of surveillance cameras in three sites.



Bhaskaran, the proprietor of Subha Plastics, and those who assisted in the installation of the surveillance cameras were presented with shawls.



Speaking at the event, the Deputy Superintendent of Police demanded that individuals building residences worth lakhs of rupees install surveillance cameras worth a few thousand rupees to avoid criminal activity.
