Goods worth Rs 25 lakh sold in Sundarapuram without the knowledge of the owner - Case filed against 5 people

Nandhini, Siraj, Zaheer, Fathima, and Rosat sold goods worth Rs 25 lakh found at a power tools and spare parts godown in Sundarapuram without the owner's knowledge. They have been charged with a crime.

Coimbatore: Police have registered a case against five persons for selling goods worth Rs 25 lakh from a private godown in Sundarapuram without the knowledge of the owner.

Rakshitha (46), a resident of Sarojini Road in Ramnagar, Coimbatore, has been identified as the deceased. Since 2001, he and a friend have maintained a company selling power tools and spare parts.

The godown is on the Sundarapuram-Madukkarai highway. Their three businesses are located on Nanjappa Road in Coimbatore. There has been a significant disparity in the spare parts in the warehouse stock in the shop during the last few months.

Nandhini and Siraj, who were working in the company at this time, quit their jobs and joined another company. Rakshitha had called Nandhini and Siraj, the employees who had already worked, because the goods in the godown were running low.

During questioning, it was revealed that they had stolen items and spare parts from the godown using false documents and sold them to another company. It was discovered that around Rs 25 lakh had been defrauded. Rakshitha then filed a police case in Pothanur.

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against Fathima, who sold goods worth Rs 25 lakh, Nandhini, Siraj and Zaheer for selling rosettes.
