On the orders of the District Superintendent of Police Uthrav and the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Valparai, a world drug awareness camp was conducted under the direction of Valparai Police Sub-Inspector Prabhakaran.

Students of Valparai Government Arts College participated in the awareness rally and passed through the main streets of the city.
The students who participated in the protest carried the anti-drug banner in their hands and raised slogans.
