On February 21, in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore North District, a health insurance camp was organized to mark Dr. Kalaignar's centenary, offering loans for small and medium entrepreneurs, setting up new women's self-help groups, and providing loan facilities.
Coimbatore: A significant health insurance camp was conducted in Saravanampatti, within the 11th and 4th wards of the Coimbatore North District, Goundampalayam assembly constituency, to commemorate the centenary celebrations of Dr. Kalaignar. The event, held on February 21, also featured camps for granting loans to small, micro, and medium enterprises, establishing new women's self-help groups, and facilitating loan provisions. North Coimbatore DMK Secretary Thondamuthur Ravi participated in the event, distributing applications to the attendees. Alongside him were party secretary Siravai Siva (aka) Palanisamy, North Coimbatore District DMK Deputy Secretary Ashok Babu Arukkutty, North Zone Leader Kathirvel, Public Committee Member Kathirvelsamy, North District Volunteer Organizer Ganesh, Minority Wing Leader Arokia John, and other party administrators and members, as well as a large turnout from the general public.
