Coimbatore: A webinar was organized by the Innovation Council of the Karpagam Institute of Technology on Monday, under the title, “Innovation in the Ethical use of Machine Learning in Financial Markets”. The Institution’s Innovation Council and Department of Information Technology jointly organized the webinar entitled.
The guest speaker for this webinar was A. Kaliappan. In the first part of his talk, he took the audience on a journey through his life and revealed that whenever he was given whatever responsibility in college, he took it on as a challenge to learn and grow. Then he proceeded to explain an exam question wherein the candidates felt that a simple answer wasn’t possible, when in fact it was.
Then the resource person talked about the interest in machine learning continues to grow in priority with paradigm shift of machine learning and artificial intelligence in financial market. He stated that machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are revolutionizing finance, market impact at the speed of light.
He then provided step by step smart algorithms of distributing computing frameworks, deep learning frame works. As a next step he spoke on how machine learning algorithms are executed and the complete chart of neural networks. He also presented the use case of NLP and sample additional reading URL for references in future about machine learning in financial markets. Finally, his success mantras were offered as a closing to the session.
The students and faculty of the educational institution participated in the virtual session.
