Coimbatore: Karpagam College of Engineering hosted its Research Day 2022 ceremony on June 10 to appreciate and encourage faculty from various departments to carry out extensive research.
Applauding the initiative, Karthick V, Trustee, Karpagam Institutions stated the importance of research, publications in SCI & Scopus Journals, and course certifications. He motivated faculty members to carry out research for the welfare of society.
As part of the Research Day 2022 celebrations, the faculty were felicitated with cash prizes for their research contributions such as publishing in journals, books, book chapters, and patents, receiving funds for research projects from government agencies, etc.
Faculty with NPTEL certifications were also acknowledged and rewarded during this function.
The various Departments’ contributions were recognized and appreciated during the ceremony and the Best Department award based on publications, patents, and grants received was awarded to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
