Bachelor of Tamil (Padaipakkam) of Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science, Coimbatore is going to convert the study of Tamil literature into a meaningful study and provide writing training in the creative fields of essay, poetry, story, drama, film, etc. It is planned to teach it not only as classroom education but also as practical education.
For a long time, Tamil degree courses have been taught without adapting to the changing times. The primary job opportunity for those who have completed such a course is to become Tamil teachers. The second is to prepare for competitive exams for government departments.
To change this situation, the Bachelor of Tamil (Padaippakkam) of Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science, Coimbatore is going to convert the study of Tamil literature into a meaningful study and provide writing training in the creative fields of essay, poetry, story, drama, film, etc. It has been planned to teach it not only as classroom education but also as practical education.
This course will aim to identify the unique potential of each student and create opportunities to team up with others. To achieve this, the college plans to enter into MoUs with experts in the fields of film, journalism, media, acting, painting, translation, personality development etc.
Planning is underway to invite experts to the campus and send students to various industries and provide methods of industrial studies to Tamil students.
Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science has developed industrial training and industrial openings into a course that will show the avenues for employment opportunities by developing industrial training and industrial openings in the study of literature.
Eligibility criteria to apply:-
Candidate has to have passed 10, 12th Std with 60% or more marks in Tamil language.
Overseas students who have studied Tamil as a language subject in the Corresponding Board of Education in their country.
