Karpagam Academy of Higher Education conducts First-year Student Induction Program on campus

Dr. A Kaliyamurthy, the former Superintendent of Police who was the Chief Guest at the event emphasized on how educational institutions create humanity and unity among people.


Coimbatore: The Karpagam Academy of Higher Education conducted its First-year Student Induction Program on August 11 at Sekkizhar Auditorium on campus.



Prof. N V Balaji, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr. R Vasanthakumar, President, Karpagam Educational Institutions. "It is the University that makes the students experts in all the fields.

The importance of creativity and Science needs to be taught and will determine who rules the world in the future. As a student, everyone should use the available opportunities and make their family and institution proud," stated Dr. R Vasanthakumar and blessed the students to acquire the best in their lives.



The Chief Guest at the event was Dr. A Kaliyamurthy, former Superintendent of Police. "Educational Institutions create humanity and unity among people," he opined while also quoting intellectuals like Plato, Aristotle, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Emerson on the importance of education. "When people bend to study, they do not need to bend before anyone in their lives.

Youngsters should read books because books can change one's entire life and help one gain wisdom. Do not waste your valuable time using mobile phones. Respect your parents' hard work and sacrifices in raising you up," advised Dr. A Kaliyamurthy.

Prof. B Venkatachalapathy, Vice-Chancellor, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education highlighted Karpagam Academy of Higher Education. K Murugaiah, Chief Executive Officer, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education and Prof. M Palaniswamy, Registrar, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education addressed the gathering at the Induction Program.
