Coimbatore: Karpagam College of Engineering organized a one-week orientation program for first-year B.E. or B.Tech. students from September 14 to September 23, 2023. On September 22, 2023, around 1200 students from various programs participated.

The program starts with a prayer song, the welcome address was given by Immaculate Nancy, Department of English. Chief Guest was introduced by Immaculate Nancy, Department of English. After that, Dr. Gowrisankar, Department of Science and Humanities, honored the chief guest with a memento as a token of appreciation.
Dr. Kumar Chinnaiyan,Principal addressed the students and discussed the college in his speech. In order to help the students grow, the college provides them with excellent lab facilities, hostel amenities, and a good environment, which the speaker mentioned in his speech.
Aadhi Pandian took over the session from him once he finished speaking. He engaged the students in conversation about their goals and aspirations before delivering his lecture. Students were inspired by his motivational speech, and it gave them hope. Additionally, he emphasized that the students value their birth. The students laughed out loud during his address, which kept them seated.
