Coimbatore: Coimbatore Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian today visited the special Covid-19 Testing Center (620125) in the Central Zone, Coimbatore. He also visited and inspected the Covid-19 Testing Special Center (W14) set up in the Central Zone of Coimbatore.
Coimbatore Corporation Officials are taking various preventive measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the district.
To avoid crowding at the Covid-19 Special Ward, which operated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital, the Covid-19 testing center for people with cough, cold and fever is now shifted to the St.Francis Anglo Indian Girls High School which is situated next to the hospital.

During the inspection, Urban Health Officer Maru Raja, Assistant Urban Health Officer Maru Vasant Divakar, Central Zonal Assistant Commissioner Sivasubramaniam, Chief Engineer Ravichandran, Assistant Chief Engineer Karuppusamy, Assistant Engineer Hemalatha, Zonal Health Officer Radhakrishnan were accompanied by nurses and corporation officials.
