District ‘Cyber Crime’ police have been advised to be vigilant against those who use the name of friends and relatives on social websites and are involved in fraud. Social networking sites such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter are the most common sources of fraud in the names of relatives and friends. Thus, the district ‘Cyber Crime’ police have advised to be vigilant and to avoid losing money.

District Cyber Crime Division ADSP, Sangu said, "Do not believe the advertisements that give short term loans, with just pan card numbers and they could open an account in your name and cause fraud. Create ATM, PIN number, mobile, email passwords, numbers using characters, codes and numericals. It is a good idea to disable bank accounts as a precaution if the mobile number associated with your bank account is not available for a long time.
