Due to inclement weather in Kerala and Coimbatore, flights diverted.

Atleast three flights from various locations from Kerala and Coimbatore have been diverted to Coimbatore International Airport and to Bangalore, due to bad weather conditions here on Saturday, airport officials confirmed.


Flight services are resuming back to normalcy and there are no diversions, as of now, officials confirmed.

Following are the flights diverted to Coimbatore International Airport and Bangalore.

Flight No - 6e796,Hubli to Cochin diverted

due to bad weather conditions in Cochin. Parked at bay 04 of Coimbatore airport.

Flight- 6e5313, Mumbai to Cochin, diverted and parked at bay 5.

Both the diverted flights took off to Cochin around 12.45 PM.

AI 429 from Chennai diverted to Bangalore at 02.45 pm due to bad weather and poor visibility at Coimbatore Airport. Later, landed in Coimbatore at 1640hrs.

Another AI flight from Mangalore washolding over Coimbatore for around 1 hr due bad weather at Coimbatore. The aircraft landed around 3.05 PM.
