Rs.1000 for higher education scholarships for girl students from government schools from July 15!

The government plans to launch a Rs 1,000 higher education scheme for women on July 15, which is former two-time CM of Tamilnadu K Kamaraj's birthday.


Coimbatore: Only those who have completed class VI to Plus 2 in government schools can avail. It was initially expected that all students going for undergraduate and postgraduate courses would be given a scholarship of Rs. 1,000 already announced.

However, at present, it has been reported that the scholarship will be given only to students who have completed sixth standard to 12th standard in government schools. The Department of Higher Education plans to launch the program on July 15, Kamaraj's birthday.
