Due to monthly maintenance work at Villankurichi and Kalapatti sub-stations in Coimbatore, there will be power outage from 9 am to 4 pm on September 23 in the areas under these sub-stations.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced that there will be a power outage from 9 am to 4 pm on September 23, due to maintenance work at Villankurichi and Kalapatti sub-stations in Coimbatore.
According to a press release issued by the Ondipudur Executive Engineer Arulselvi, electrical maintenance work under Villankurichi and Kalapatti sub-stations will be carried out.
Due to this, Kalapatti, Veeriyampalayam, Cheran Ma Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Chitra, Kaikolampalayam, Valliyampalayam, Balaji Nagar, Karaiyanpalayam, Villankurichi, Thaneer Pandal, Lakshmi Nagar, Murugan Nagar, Peelamedu and Industrial Estates will experience power outage from 9 am to 4 pm on September 23.
Areas including Sharp Nagar, Maheshwari Nagar, Sengaliappa Nagar, Jeeva Nagar and Kumudham Nagar will also experience power outage.
