'Interested participants can apply for 'Swachh Toycathon' sports competition till Nov. 11:' CCMC Commissioner, M Prathap

M Prathap announced that those who wish to participate in the Swachh Toycathon competition, which is being held with the aim of reviving the toy industry, can participate as individuals or groups, and apply through the http://innovateindia.mygov.in/swachh-toycathon website till November 11.



Coimbatore: A sports competition called 'Swachh Toycathon' was organised by the Union Ministry of Urban Affairs and Housing with the aim of revitalizing the Indian toy industry under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The competition which will is being hled for people of all ages aims to bring about a new change in toy design. The competition involves toys, game designs and other innovative ideas that look to reshape the toy industry using waste and recycled materials.

Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap said, "Participants can be individuals or groups. Those who want to participate in the competition can apply through the http://innovateindia.mygov.in/swachh-toycathon website till November 11. Applicants can submit one registration each on three themes – 1) Have Fun and Learn, 2) Use and Enjoy and 3) Old to New," stated the CCMC Commissioner, M Prathap.
