Students in Valparai observe national voters day by conducting awareness rally.

As, every January 25th is observed as National voters day, across the nation the students are conducting rallies and awareness campaigns to urge the youth to participate in voting and to enroll themselves in the voting list. To observe this day,students of Bharathiar University Arts and Science College, Valparai, today hosted a voters’ awareness rally.

Principal of of Bharathiar University Arts and Science College and Valaparai Taluk officer jointly flagged off the rally.

 The rally began from the college premise and went up to the head post office and then headed back to the start point through Gandhi road and Vazhaithottam areas.

The participants marched through the roads sensitizing the natives of this region on the importance to exercise their voting rights. They held placards and raised slogans to create awareness on the need of voting and it's importance. NSS students, professors of this college participated in the rally.
