The Indian Film Festival in association with Kovai Film Society and The Arc Foundation organized a Indian Childrens Film Festival at Brookfield's Mall, as a part of the ten-day Coimbatore Vizha. The film festival is involved in screening inspirational and moral movies for school children who are studying in Government and private schools thus ensuring that the films that are screened enrich the lives of the school kids.

This event is supported by Dr. Kalam library committee and PSGR Krishnammal College for women. Shobana Kumar, Managing Trustee, NGO Small Differences and Anjali Ajeeth, Social Activist were the chief guests and Raveendran, Secretary, RAAC was the guest of honour for this event that was inaugurated this morning.

The first show was screened between 10 am and 12:30 pm, the second show was screened between 1 pm and 3:30 pm while the third show was screened from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. While the first two shows were for school children, the third show was open to public.
