The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Ikons along with several citizens of Coimbatore took the initiative of cleaning the Ponnurangam Road West and TV Swamy Road West, with several pedestrians joining the initiative.
Coimbatore: The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Ikons have come up with an initiative in Coimbatore city named 'SADAK 3.0,' which undertook cleaning of the city, post Diwali, to keep surroundings clean.

The members of the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Ikons stated that the objective of their cleaning was not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within the environment. "Just as we keep our home clean, it is also our responsibility to keep our surroundings clean. 'SADAK 3.0' was formally inaugurated around 6.45 am on October 25. The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Ikons along with several citizens of Coimbatore took the initiative of cleaning roads. Ponnuramgam Road West and TV Swamy Road West were covered and cleaned through this initiative. Several pedestrians even joined the initiative. Around 35 people were engaged in cleaning the roads and everyone left with a big smile and a deep sense of satisfaction at serving to keep the city clean. The club was even lauded for its efforts by several CMC members," opined the members.
