Chief coordinator of Naam Tamilar party Seeman stated “The incidents that are happening in Tamilnadu is leading to doubts that the state government is controlled by the Central government.”
When speaking to the press at the Coimbatore airport he said, “Though there are many memorials installed in Chennai in relation to Jallikattu a memorial should be constructed as per the wishes of the students at Marina who protested for conduct of Jallikattu. He also said “ I condemn the construction dams across the Bhavani River in Kerala the water is also used by the Malayalis who live in the Tamil Nadu. All the vegetables and food products are being sent from Tamil Nadu to Kerala. We need water to irrigate those crops.” he said.
He also questioned the usage household vessels to remove the soil spill near Chennai in spite of the advanced technology we have today. Alternative methods which are scientific in nature should be used to clean the spill as it is done in foreign countries. People are in fear as they are worried about impact of the spill. Prime Minister Modi has not condoled the death of more than 200 farmers in Tamil Nadu” he said.
“The incidents which are happening in Tamil Nadu make us doubt whether the Tamil Nadu government is under the control of ruling BJP government in the centre. When J. Jayalalitha was the Chief Minister permission was not granted to the RSS organisation to take up processions in the city. Why permission has been granted to RSS to conduct procession in Chennai. Naam Tamilar party is ready to face the elections and will participate in elections whenever the elections are declared” he said
“During the violence in Chennai the police personnel cannot be acting without the directions of their superiors in setting fire to the vehicles. Investigation should be done to find out to find out the senior police officer who directed the police at ground. The implementation of 144 rule in Marina is an unnecessary act. This order has created unnecessary fear of the people” he said.
