National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials and police conducted raids at the residences of those who were in touch with those arrested in the Coimbatore car blast case.
Coimbatore: Jamesha Mubin was killed when he exploded the cylinder in his car near Kottai Easwaran temple in Ukkadam area of Coimbatore on October 23. Based on CCTV footage of the incident, the Special Cell police arrested six persons, including those who loaded explosives in the car along with Mubin.

Around 100 kg of explosives were also seized from the house of the deceased Jamesha Mubin. On the recommendation of the Tamil Nadu government, the case has been transferred to the National Investigation Agency and an investigation is underway.
