Following a video of him planning to throw a petrol bomb at the Palladam police station, Anbumani and Veeramani, both residents of Senthilnagar, were arrested by the police and sent to jail.
Tirupur: More than 300 people live in Senthil Nagar area of Madhapur panchayat near Palladam in Tirupur district.
The area is situated at a distance of about one kilometre from the Coimbatore-Trichy national highway. Some people here are said to be on drugs and drinking alcohol and indulging in frequent ruckus.
In the meantime, the disappearance of goods in random houses on a daily basis has been going on. People in the area were shocked to find the missing items in an old iron shop nearby.
Following this, the Palladam police station was informed about the incident. It is reported that the cable wires installed on behalf of Madhapur panchayat and the construction material from the places where the house is being constructed had also gone missing.
They contacted the emergency helpline number 100 and lodged a complaint. Following this, the complainants who were called to Palladam police station were interrogated intensively.
In this scenario, a video got released that if someone kills Senthil Nagar Residents Association president Thiraviyam his family would sell the house and spend up to Rs 10 lakh. This shocking video also said that he had planned to throw a petrol bomb at the police station while he was already in jail.
It was revealed that the person who spoke in the video threatening the public was Anbumani and Veeramani, both residents of Senthil Nagar. Investigations revealed that Anbumani had gone to jail in connection with the robbery case of police inspector's son Boopal and was released on conditional bail and used to sign daily at Palladam police station.
Following this, Palladam registered a case over the incident. The police were on the lookout for Anbumani and Veeramani who are brothers.The police rounded up the two men who were standing near Singanur section on the Coimbatore-Trichy national highway and arrested them.

The two arrested were later taken to palladam police station for questioning. Subsequently, a case was registered against Anbumani and Veeramani under IPC sections 294B, 506(2), 7(1) of the LAC.
Following this, the two were produced before the Palladam magistrate after a medical examination and were taken to jail.
People in the area have been thanking and appreciating Palladam Deputy Superintendent of Police Soumya for putting an end to the audacity of the rowdy brothers who released the video threatening the public and the police.
