The 8th train from Coimbatore chugged off from Coimbatore to 'Kasi Tamil Sangamam' with 98 delegates

In order to strengthen the spiritual, cultural and cultural linkages between Kasi and Tamil Nadu, the 8th train service for the Kasi Tamil Sangamam programme launched by the Government of India commenced it journey from Coimbatore early this morning.


Coimbatore: Over 100 City police men and Railways staffwere on duty even as the 8th train service had commenced its journey from Coimbatore railway station early this morning for the "Kasi Tamil Sangamam" event.



As many as 98 delegates hailing from various districts of Tamil Nadu inclluding students, folk artistes, traders and entrepreneurs commenced their journey from Coimbatore railway junction to participate in the "Kasi Tamil Sangamam" programme.



BJP's Coimbatore South district president Vasantharajan supervised the eventeven as the delegates left for Kasi Tamil Sangamam programme.
