Woman relieved of 10 sovereign jewlellery in running bus

A woman Jayageetha was releived of her ten sovereign of gold oranament, when she was travelling in a bus from Sathyamangalam to Coimbatore. A suspicous woman who had travelled with them might have stolen the jewellery, they say in the police complaint.


Coimbatore: A woman Jayageetha was releived of her ten sovereign of gold oranament, when she was travelling in a bus from Sathyamangalam to Coimbatore.

According to police, Jayageetha and her daughter Yugamurthy had allegedly realized that the jewellery which was kept in a bag was missing only when they reached their relative's house in Selvapuram in Coimbatore.

Later, Jayageetha, had lodged a complaint at the Selvapuram police station. According to the complainant a suspicous woman who had travelled with them might have stolen the jewellery and the woman alighted from the bus at Annur.,

The Selvapuram police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
