Dist. Collector distributes welfare assistance worth Rs. 4.53 crore at Kinathukadavu Public Relations Camp in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran who distributed welfare assistance worth Rs. 4.53 crores to 486 beneficiaries at the District Collector's Public Relations Camp held at Kinathukadavu, also received petitions from the people.



Coimbatore: A public relations camp was held at Chokkanur near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district on Wednesday.



Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran presided over the camp and inspected the exhibition organised by the Animal Husbandry Department, Social Welfare Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department and Health Department.



The District Collector distributed welfare assistance worth Rs. 4.53 crore to 486 beneficiaries, totalling Rs. 53,64,985.



Later, the public handed over petitions to the District Collector which contained demands to solve their problems caused by stone quarries and also to issue free house site pattas.



Pollachi Sub-Collector Priyanka, District Panchayats Deputy Director Kamalakannan, Panchayat Union Block Development Officers Radhakrishnan, Sikandar Badshah, Chokkanur Panchayat President Prabhu alias Thirunavukkarasu, District Panchayat Member Rajan and others participated in the camp.
