Coimbatore - based wildlife photographer Jeyaraj Govindarajulu took to social media to share a picture of a rarely - spotted black panther on social media, which went viral. He had clicked it in Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
Coimbatore: Jayaraj Govindarajulu is a native of Coimbatore and he has been engaged in business. Aslo, he is pursuing wild life photography as a passion and pastime.
The photographer had a rare opportunity on his recent tour of North India, and he took many photos and videos of the elusive black panther, which is a rare species and very hard to spot in even wild environment.
"I have been clicking wildlife photographs for the past last six years. I have taken photographs of several wildlife species, including the painted stork and the Tickell's blue fly catcher in Coimbatore and surrounding forest areas.
"Recently, we went on a tour of Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. There I cout spot out a black panther that is very rare species to spot even in wild environment. Without wasting a second, I took a photo and video on my camera" said Jeyaraj Govindarajulu.
"I consider myself lucky to have spotted the black panther and that too in very close range. I only had few seconds, but managed to click good photos". he said.
Many common citizens and wildlife photographers have congratulated Jeyaraj Govindarajulu, when he shared black panther photos on social media.
