18th Annual Session of CII's Young Indians Coimbatore Chapter held in city; Office-bearers appointed

Ashwin Manohar, Proprietor, Associated Engineering Traders has been appointed as the Chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter for the year 2023, while Vishnu Prabhakar, CEO, Poornima Enterprises has been appointed as the Co-Chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter.


Coimbatore: Young Indians Coimbatore Chapter, part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Coimbatore Zone organized its 18th Annual Session on December 17, closing the year with over 200 developmental activities and events, and directly impacting over 20,000 beneficiaries.

Ashwin Manohar, Proprietor, Associated Engineering Traders has been appointed as the Chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter for the year 2023. Ashwin Manohar is the Sole-Proprietor of Associated Engineering Traders which is a distribution firm of industrial consumable products. He has a Bachelor's degree from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology.

He joined Yi in the year 2015 and has been actively involved in various initiatives. He has been part of the Yi International Learning missions to Vietnam, Israel and South Korea and regional missions to Pune and Madurai. He has been in the Executive Committee representing Branding, Membership and currently serving as a Chair for 'Coimbatore Vizha,' and has been a core team member of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Learning, Engagement and Sports verticals.

Vishnu Prabhakar, CEO, Poornima Enterprises has been appointed as the Co-Chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter for the year 2023. Vishnu Prabhakar has been associated With Yi for the past nine years and has been actively involved in various activities. He has also participated in CII business delegations and travelled extensively to all parts of the world on business trips. He represented India as part of Young Indians in multiple delegations like G20-Turkey and G-20-China. He has also been the Mission Lead of delegations to Vietnam and Israel.

Poornima Enterprises is one of the leading manufacturers and dealers of Textile Machinery in South India. It is a 30-year old group with wide footprint in the Spinning and Textile Industry. Poornima Enterprises supplies textile machinery parts to all leading textile companies in the region, and manufacture and also import textile machinery parts from various countries.
