While, Sivakumar, President of the Coimbatore, Tirupur District Micro and Cottage Entrepreneurs' Association (COTMA), said the central government should set up a public sector unit.

Sastha M Raja, former president of the Coimbatore Wet Grinder and Accessories Manufacturers' Association (GAUMA), said “more challenges await the industry in the first three months of the New Year”.
