Over 60 candidates appear for interview for Village Assistant vacancies at Palladam

Over 60 candidates appeared for an interview for the post of Village Assistant in the Palladam taluk office. Taluk Supply Officer Maharaj, Palladam Tahsildar Nandagopal conducted the interview.



Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu government has decided to fill up the vacant posts of Village Assistants in various districts in Tamil Nadu. The notification for the 2,748 vacant posts of Village Assistants in all taluks was released a few days ago.



At Palladam, the applicants were tested on English and Tamil proficiency and reading and writing skills tests followed by an oral interview.



Of the total 306 candidates who applied, the interview was conducted for 60 candidates today.

According to officials, the interview will go on till January 10.
