Makkal Needhi Maiyam's 'Long Live Tamil Nadu' poster campaign in Coimbatore creates a flutter

With TN Governor R N Ravi's controversial “Tamil Nadu” remarks stoking political controversy, the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) has put up posters across the city with the words 'Long live Tamil Nadu' thus condemning the Governor’s remarks.


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, while speaking at an event in Chennai had courted controversy by saying Tamil Nadu could better be called as “Tamilagam”.

In this regard, various political parties have registered their condemnation of the Governor’s remarks.

Meanwhile, political figures from the BJP have been saying that the Governor's remarks did not have any political overtones. Similarly, social media is agog with strong views on the “Tamil Nadu” controversy.



In the meanwhile, the Coimbatore Central District Makkal Needhi Maiam has started a poster campaign against the controversial remarks of the Governor at Lanka Corner in Coimbatore.
