Coimbatore District Collector Sameeran has said that the photo exhibition will be held at the VOC grounds in Coimbatore from January 13 to 22.
Coimbatore: A 10-day photo exhibition on the achievements and various scheme implementation of the Tamil Nadu government will be held at the VOC Grounds in Coimbatore said District Collector G S Sameeran
Themed as , "One year of hard and tire less work bearing the hope of Tamils†the exhibition will showcase the achievements of the Government and various government departments.
The Photo exhibitions and awareness programmes will be held between January 13. to 22 from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Senthil Balaji, TN Minister for Electricity and Prohibition and Excise will inaugurate the photo exhibition on the 13th at 6 pm at the VOC Ground.
Photo features on special schemes of the government such as “makkalai thedi maruthuvam, “innuyir kaappom thittamâ€, “morning Breakfast scheme’, “ennum ezhuthumâ€, “illam thedi kalviâ€, “naan mudhalvanâ€, kalloori kanavu†will be show cased.
Every day, cultural programmes will be conducted by the students and tourism department will organize folk dances such as "Oyilattam" on the occasion..
Stalls will be put up by SHGs at the venue on millets and multi-flavored food in a street-side restaurant-like type. Samathuva Pongal festival will also be organized. with women's self-help groups.
District Collector, Mayor of the Corporation, MPs, MLAs, Corporation Municipal Commissioner and representatives of local bodies will be attend the function.
