Manager of private firm arrested for misappropriating Rs. 9 lakh near Palladam

The Mangalam Police have arrested the manager and lodged him in jail.



Tirupur: Thamarai Selvi who hails from Karugampalayam in Samalapuram, near Palladam in Tirupur district runs a textiles and transport business under the name of Swathi Lakshmi.



Antony Bernard, a native of Pallapalayam who worked as a manager in Thamarai Selvi's company. had been responsible for the entire administration of the company, which included loading goods for transport, collecting rent and selling clothes manufactured in the textile company.

It is alleged that Antony misappropriated Rs. 9 lakh in cash from the company.



Based on the complaint lodged by Thamarai Selvi, the Mangalam Police registered a case and arrested Antony Bernard, and lodged him in jail.
