It has been reported that a major fire broke out in Nallamudi Estate belonging to the Maanampalli forest range, Valparai. The fire that started yesterday morning in not time spread across the forest range. However, the locals from that region, informed the fire issue to the Fire department only by evening.
The estate management along with the fire service department is taking efforts to douse the fire. The forest officials will also keep a tight vigil on the situation.
