TNAU hosts two-day Book Fair on Feb 8, 9 at its Techno Park on campus

About 20 publishers and distributors from all over India participated and displayed their latest books at the Book Fair.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Centre for Students Welfare has organised a two-day Book Fair on February 8 and 9 at the Techno Park, TNAU, Coimbatore.



Dr. V Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU inaugurated the Book Fair. The University Officers, Heads of the Department and faculty of TNAU main campus participated in the inaugural function. About 20 publishers and distributors from all over India participated and displayed their latest books at the Book Fair.



Books pertaining to agriculture and related sciences, including curriculum-based text books, reference books and books written by TNAU scientists were displayed.

20 percent discount is being offered on all books during the exhibition.

Research scholars, students and faculty members excitedly visited the book stall and purchased books for their course and research work.

The Book Fair is also expected to be useful for all the Constituent Colleges of TNAU for purchasing books for their library. This year, there is a dedicated stall for books about sports, which deserves special mention.
