Crocodile gets trapped in fishing net in Athirapalli falls near Valparai, tourists scared

The public and tourists have requested the forest department officials to immediately capture the crocodile and relocate it as the waterfalls is a popular tourist spot, frequented by hundreds of tourists every day.



Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, a crocodile was caught in a net spread for fish at Athirapalli waterfalls near Valparai.

Athirapalli Falls near Valparai is a popular tourist destination. A large number of tourists from within the country as well as from abroad visit the waterfall.



In this scenario, a crocodile was trapped in a fishing net. Shocked by this, the tourists not only took photographs but also informed the forest department.

Later, when the forest department personnel stepped into the waters to capture the reptile it slid away into the waters.
